Ten Goals In Legends Charity Match

There were ten goals in this afternoon's charity match at Edgar Street.

And the Hereford legends team scored six of them, although two of them came from a young striker drafted in to help numbers.

Simon Travis opened the scoring for Hereford with a header. Then Cheltenham equalised with a penalty.

Steve Guinan, who played for both sides, doubled Hereford's lead.

Half time: Hereford 2 Cheltenham 1

Stuart Fleetwood, Lewis Rose (2) and Danny Carey-Bertram were Hereford's scorers in the second half.

Lewis Rose is a son of Michael Rose who also played this afternoon.

Full time: Hereford 6 Cheltenham 4

Whilst no attendance figure was given out, there seemed to be about 150 spectators.
