Former Hereford player Ryan McLean is an 'old-school' winger according to his new boss at Wimbledon.
McLean moved to the Dons for a small fee last week.
“I don’t know much about the league
and Hereford as such, but I had a look at his clips online and looked at
some of his games – I really liked what I saw," said manager Johnnie Jackson.
“He’s a young and exciting player who wants to get at people and is very direct – he’s an old-school winger.
“He wants to get on the ball and get at people. I thought it would be something that would be very useful to us, and he’s keen to make that next step in his career.
“He’s never been full time or played league football before, but he’s young and hungry – he wants to crack on.
“Sometimes you can unearth gems with lads that have a point to prove and want to take that next step in their career.”
