As of this evening there is little news about a new manager for Hereford.
It appears the board have a couple of names in mind but it's not known if an offer has been made to anyone.
A few names banded about on the forum, such as Chris Hargreaves and Stuart Fleetwood, have been ruled out.
One of the problems recruiting someone may be the budget on offer for next season which is expected to be no more, probably slightly less than for this season.
And the pay package may also be less than that given to Josh Gowling.
As someone close to the board said the club most live within its means.
That might suggest that an appointment could take a little longer.
