Hereford manager Yan Klukowski speaking after this afternoon's game against Alfreton said it was a 'tough encounter'.
The game ended 0-0 with neither keeper having much to do. However Alfreton's George Willis was probably lucky he was given a card for time wasting.
"They are a very difficult side to play against," said Klukowski.
"They upset your rhythm, they are very direct and they have a real weapon in Matt Rhead upfront and they get good runners off him.
"We had to resolute, we had to win first contacts, track runners and do the horrible side of the game but I thought we were magnificent in that.
"Back to back clean sheets is fantastic for that particular group of players with the shape change we've brought into place.
"I thought Orrin was magnificent, I don't think he'll come up against a tougher opponent all season. He's probably going to feel that tomorrow morning.
"Zac was on his last legs, Levi Andoh was magnificent again both in and out of position. That back three really stifiled their attacking threat. I don't think Dino had a save to make all afternoon.
"Back to back clean sheets against two very difficult sides to play. We're delighted."
However despite a clean sheet, Hereford gave George Willis in the Alfreton goal very little to do.
"We need to shoot more, we need to hit the target more. The two best chances of the game fell to us with Latty in the first half, probably needed the ball to drop a bit lower but well done for getting in that position.
"And then Tyrone at the end, he's come on with Miles.
"We tried to go and win the game by putting two centre-forwards on.
"Levi plays a lovely little slide pass into Ty, good bit of movement but doesn't hit the target.
"A great run and we just need to keep getting ourselves in those positions and testing the keeper more."
