Hereford FC's board of directors will not be rushed into replacing recently departed Josh Gowling.
That's the main point made in a club statement released this morning.
"We will not rush into any quick decisions".
Applications for the post of manager remain open and are expected to remain open for at least the next week.
One of the problems the board will face will be the size of any package offered to a new manager.
There's little doubt the package won't be as generous as the one offered to Josh Gowling.
Also if an appointment is made soon what will happen to interim manager Yan Klokowski given his 'contract' is until the end of the season?
Of course any new manager may be happy to have Klokowski in his 'team' but there again he may want to bring in someone else as his assistant.
Finally should Hereford win their next two games, both at Edgar Street, would the board consider offering the job to Klukowski always assuming he might want it.
