After today's well-deserved 2-0 win over Scarborough Athletic, Hereford manager Josh Gowling spoke to the local media.
"Obviously on the back of the second half at Kiddy it was important to follow up that second half performance with a win at home.
"We've had a good attendance today and probably at home we've not performed when we've had good attendances.
"So it was important for us to first get on the front foot but also put on a good performance for the fans.
"We looked at how we have been over the last couple of weeks and probably in wide areas we've not been as effective as we would have liked. For that reason we changed the system and the shape.
"With Miles coming on at Aggborough the other day he gave us a massive lift and with a performance like that you got to bat out with the same team and that's what we did.
"I think today with the midfield we had it enabled us to play and get bodies in the box. That was probably the main difference today.
"We could stretch the lines as well with Miles in behind.
"Over the weeks we've been chopping and changing a lot, injuried lads and not having games. Levi (Andoh) has still got a lot to come because he's not played a lot of football lately but with this system we play they (full-backs) are important and they get forward. It's really important in our system that our full backs are willing to be agressive and get forward. They were excellent today."
