Markers for Mindfulness are set to sponsor Hereford's home game against Kettering on March 4th.

I am sponsoring the match on the 4th of March in my late wife Sam’s memory. Through my work with computers for schools, which up to now has distributed 1230 laptops and tablets, I was introduced to a 17 year old, Daniel who started markers for mindfulness. https://www.markersformindfulness.org.uk/.
Hereford FC have kindly agreed for fans/local organisations to drop off stationery and resources to support this campaign. (Barnet FC and QPR have and are organising similar events.) The idea is then the club distributes this to local Hereford schools in need.
Barnet Walking Football Team has been kind enough to support this initiative and have been collecting loads of supplies over the course of the last 3 months. The players and supporters club have also generously donated. On behalf of the BWF, myself and other players have so far been to 20 plus schools and what we found is very sad. Kids coming into school without being fed as parents can’t afford to feed them, rationing paper for photocopying, lack of well being provisions, teachers spending money from their own pockets and that’s just the start.
I would be grateful if you, Radio Hereford, Talking Bull, HUST, any podcasts can help get the message out there. I am very happy to be interviewed for any of these and if possible, ask Daniel or his mum to join us, albeit Daniel has A levels shortly.
If you know any other clubs you can introduce me to, I would be grateful. The aim is to get loads of sporting organisations to be drop off points throughout the UK and to deliver to their local schools.
