Dan Jarvis was drafted in from Gateshead to help Hereford in their 1-0 win at Buxton yesterday.
"I tried to sign him in the summer," said manager Josh Gowling.
"I spoke to him in the summer after leaving Wrexham. But he went to Gatesdhead which you understand.
"I know Mike at Gateshead really well. I had a chat with him and he's done us a bit of a favour.
"You can see Dan is quality, he's strong on the ball, he can play forward well.
"He'll be here until the end of the season."
