The Final Ball Cost Us The Game Said Gowling

After a very disappointing Christmas 'derby', Hereford manager Josh Gowling spoke to the local media.

Kidderminster won the game 1-0 with Hereford failing to trouble their keeper.

"When they scored it was a case of just time-wasting for pretty much the whole game.

"I thought the foul when he played on, gave advantage for, was our foul. but we've ended up conceding from it.

"I felt that when we put a string of passes together they looked like they struggled against us but for me that was just few and far between. That was probably the disappointing side of things.

"You look at some of the areas we got in first half especially, that final key pass we fell short on today.

"Jack did, Ryan did at times, Kane had one of those games today where he hooked a lot on rather than getting on the ball and playing. When you've got ball players in there you want them to get on the ball and play and I don't think we did that enough.

"For me the final ball, the final delivery, the excution of that cost us the game.

"I watched them on Tuesday night against Fylde, they won on penalties, they work hard and press so you have to have calm and a bit of composure in possession when you are up against that and I don't think we did that enough today."
