Hereford manager Josh Gowling has said that playing Portsmouth at home in the FA Cup is a fantastic draw.
"I thought the last round when we got Bromley was a bit bare," Gowling told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"No disrepect to Bromley but they don't get big gates and for a club like ourselves if you get drawn against higher opposition you want maximum gates.
"Portsmouth is a dream come true for everyone at the club. Everyone is buzzing at the moment, so really pleased with the draw.
"The club are working really hard to get everything sorted, to make sure we can maximise the day.
"And obviously with the TV revenue coming in now, it's a massive thing for the football club.
"It's brilliant for the club.
"We've spoken a lot over the last couple of years about sustainability at the football club and this goes a long way to help that.
"I've got a lot of things I want to do with this football club moving forward, this helps financially for the club, some money in the bank.
"It's my first time (in the first round). My first year we went out first round qualifers, last year we went out third round qualifers so it's a really special moment for me.
"I know the managers as well, they've come through non-league, then to Lincoln, Huddersfield and now Portsmouth.
"So it's going to be a tough test, we realish that and we think we've got a chance.
"The FA Cup is a special competition, you've seen upsets before, we'll give it a right go."
