Orrin Pendley spoke to the media after scoring the winning goal for Hereford at Bromley yesterday in the FA Cup.
He was asked by H&W's Keith Hall what it was like.
"It feels nice," said Pendley.
"Not been to round one before so first time.
"Good to get the winner to go into round one."
Currently Pendley is dual registered with Coalville.
"The gaffer told me to go out and get some games so I got some games. Since I've been back I've enjoyed it.
"It's good that he was a centre-back himself so he's giving me what he knows. I've not been in an academy or anything like that so it's good to work under Josh.
"My main job is to stop the ball going into the back of the net. I thought we defended pretty well as a unit.
"It's lovely to get into the next round."
Two good results in a week, firstly Boston and now Bromley.
"We are all buzzing. Both tough games. Boston away not many people will win there. And then Bromley who are 4th in the league above. We've done well, we need to keep going.
"It was hard but that's what it's all about sometimes, you've got to do that for a period in the game, backs against the wall, put your body on the line and we've come away with a nice victory."
Pendley was asked who was his man of the match.
"Everybody put a good shift in, I can't single out just one person. I think we were all very good today. Who was your man of the match? (Pendley asked Keith Hall)
Hall replied saying he would probably give it to Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
"Everybody put a shift in," said Pendley.
Who would you like to play?
"The biggest team in league one!"
