Hereford manager Josh Gowling was pleased with the contribution of a trialist who scored three of the goals in last night's friendly at Coalville.
"He did really well.
"He's been with us for a while now and he's got better.
"When he first came in he was a bit not understanding the way we do things.
"He progressed and got better week in week out.
"Coming on today for ten/fifteen minutes whatever it was, he's a goal scorer.
"He gets in the box and wants to score goals.
"He scored a few goals last year, I think he scored 16.
"We'll have a chat with him but he's done pretty well."
Gowling also noted the performance of another trialist who played in midfield.
"I'm not going to mention who he is.
"He passed forward well, got us together well, dealt with second balls well."
