Hereford lost their National North League game at Spennymoor this afternoon.
Final score: Spennymoor 1 Hereford 0
Spennymoor took a more direct approach in the second half, scoring half their goal on 74 minutes, and whilst Hereford had a few chances towards the end, Spennymoor deserved their victory.
Hereford are now 11th in the table, five points below 7th placed Boston.
Whilst they could still make the play-offs, they would need to win their last two games and hope those around them all drop enough points.
Realistically it's all over for Hereford this season. However Brackley (2nd) who are the visitors to Edgar Street on Monday, were beaten by Blyth Spartans (19th).
