Hereford manager Josh Gowling watched Gateshead on Monday evening when they won 4-2 at Bradford PA.
Second in the League Gateshead are the visitors to Edgar Street next Saturday so it is sure to be a very tough game for the Bulls.
"I watched them at Bradford, it was 4-2 in the end," said Gowling.
"Good side, passed the ball well.
"They look like the best side I've seen this season.
"They've got games in hand.
"They play a good style of football and have a good striker and score lots of goals.
"A very very good side."
