Dan Smith Scored Hereford's Second Goal This Evening
Hereford assistant manager Steve Burr spoke to the local media after the Bulls won their game against Blyth Spartans 2-0.
"The most important thing was to get the three points tonight with the two victories we've had prior to this," said Burr.
"So it was important we kicked off, we're still looking to play better but we've got to give Blyth a bit of credit tonight.
"They had a bit of a pasting on Saturday and it's always hard playing a team when they've just had a hammering like they did on Saturday.
"The most pleasing thing for us tonight was the three points.
"The clean sheet was another thing. You don't want to conceed goals, you want to be scoring goals and and at the minute that seems to be coming.
"I still feel, me and the gaffer, that there's a lot more to come from us. But i think the main thing was from where we were a few weeks back to where we've managed to get ourselves now and winning breeds more confidence in the team.
"I think you can see that with young Ryan Mclean who is starting to flourish and show good signs."
