Jaanai Gordon is looking to rebuild his career says Hereford manager Josh Gowling. The 25 year old striker joined the Bulls earlier in the week and played in Tuesday evening's game against Blyth Spartans. It's thought he will start against Chester tomorrow.
He arrived at Edgar Street to bolster the squad whilst Miles Storey recovers from a head injury.
Gowling told BBC Hereford and Worcester that Gordon is trying to get his career back on track.
“He was at West Ham and looked as though he was going to have a glistening career. Sometimes lads kind of lose their way a little bit.
“He had a bad injury as well and did his ACL. I know how that can effect you especially psychologically.
“For him he’s looking to re-build his career."
Meanwhile head groundsman Ben Bowen is going to miss tomorrow's match, his first in the last two years.
Instead he's off to watch West Ham playing at Wolves. No doubt he will be keeping an eye out for a former Hereford United player.
