National North side Curzon Ashton are looking for a new manager after it was announced earlier today that Steve Cunningham was leaving the club.
'Curzon Ashton FC have relieved Steve Cunningham from his duties as Manager. The Club sincerely thank him for his hard work and efforts over the past 18 months.'
Last Saturday Curzon were eliminated from the FA Cup after losing 4-0 at home to Chesterfield.
Currently Curzon are 5th in the table and a week ago Cunningham was named manager of the month by the National North League.
His dismissal may be linked to a mistake with the team sheet last Saturday when a player was missed off.
"We were trying to make the sub and then someone came up and said you are trying to put a sub on who is not on the team sheet,” Cunningham told Nash TV.
Hereford are set to play Curzon Ashton at Edgar Street on December 11th.
