Marley Watkins who joined Cardiff City on a short-term contract after a succesful trial will have to find another club.
The former Hereford United winger was released by Bristol City at the end of last season and then arrived at Cardiff on trial in July.
On August 10th it was reported that manager Mick McCarthy had given him a contract until the end of August.
But last Wednesday it was revealed Watkins wouldn't be offered a further deal.
"I've decided Marley Watkins won't be staying with us and we will be using our youngsters," said McCarthy.
