With striker Joey Butlin leaving Hereford, manager Josh Gowling will no doubt be looking for a player to replace him.
But, according to Grimsby manager Paul Hurst, there are not many strikers 'out there'.
Hurst has two of his strikers out with injuries one of which is former Hereford player Lenell John-Lewis.
"I’ll be honest, as much as we do our research, you can’t cover every single base, and some people take strikers whether they’re actually any good," said Hurst.
"I've seen players move that I certainly wouldn’t have been interested in, they’re just not for me.
"But I do feel like there is a lack of them out there. I’m still
speaking to a lot of managers that are still looking for strikers, we
won’t stop looking".
