Tom Owen-Evans is expected to be in the Hereford squad at Redditch tomorrow. He missed the opening friendly at Westfields on Tuesday evening as he has been unwell. However he trained yesterday.
"Owen-Evans trained yesterday," said manager Josh Gowling.
"He looked really good in training, looked sharp, looked a lot better than he did last year when he came back for pre-season.
"So he'll be back in the fold tomorrow.
"We'll also have a couple of lads we are looking at as potentials in the game tomorrow."
However Gowling admitted he was still looking for an experienced center-half.
"We have to get the right one in, one that fits our environment, and financially be right for the football club as well and the age has got to be about right," he said.
Gowling's comments were from a ten minute interview with Keith Hall - https://www.herefordfc.co.uk/interview-gowling-looks-for-more-momentum/
