As revealed yesterday former Pegasus Juniors manager James Edmonds is to manage Hereford FC Under 18's Community Team.
Edmonds will be assisted by Kevin Griffin who has managed girls football locally including spells with Westfields and Lads Club.
The Under 18's will play in the Sporting Touch Midland Junior Premier League. Fixtures are set to start in mid-September. They are also hoping to play some pre-season friendlies
It's not been announced where the Under 18's will play their home games.
Edmonds has a lot of experience behind him. Several years ago he coached the Hereford FC Under 16's. More recently he has been with the Bristol Rovers Development Center. He holds a UEFA B Coaching Award.
"This is a great opportunity for U18 players and having had over 20 years experience coaching youth and adult football, I feel that I can bring good quality coaching to the squad," said Edmonds.
Club chairman Jon Hale welcomed the appointments.
"This is another massively positive step forwards for the club, and we look forward to seeing James and Kevin develop our young players."
