In his interview on the Non-League Show, Steve Burr has been talking about tomorrow's Trophy game against Woking and his hope that Hereford can get to Wembley.
However he admitted the team will miss the supporters getting behind them.
"The Trophy has kept us alive and kept us playing, kept us training.
"We would like to go one further and keep the season going and get ourselves to Wembley.
"It's been a month since we played Aldershot.
"But there's nothing quite like that Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday routine of playing.
"Until the League was terminated we were on a good run ourselves. Once you build that momentum up you want to keep it going.
"It's been a frustrating season, from one week to the next never knowing whether you are going to play or not against teams.
"But to be fair to the lads we've got they've worked hard and we train like we play. That's all you can ask of them really and these lads are part-time players. But still we've been able to play and train where a lot of people haven't been able to do that.
"Notts County and Woking have been playing regular football and with that do they have an edge?
"I don't think it will matter on Saturday because it's the semi-final and you'll need a bit of luck on the day. It's not always the best side on the day."
