We Need The Youth Team Back Said Gowling

Jarrod Bowen Came Through The Youth System At Hereford

Hereford manager Josh Gowling has said that he hopes there will be a youth team back at the club soon. But to work it needs a good community base.

"We've got a great community guy Nashy," said Gowling earlier this week when speaking to TalkSport.

"We are going out tomorrow to hand out some tablets to schools in Hereford ( http://bullsnews.blogspot.com/2021/03/computers-for-schools-campaign-raises.html

"Last year we had to do away with the youth team due to finances but one of my remits is to bring the youth team back so we can get back into the community with the youth team.

"It is really important for a club like us which doesn't have the finance or the means to buy players to have a good community base.

"We can get players in and develop them.

"We had Jarrod Bowen with us, he's now at West Ham.

"We've got Toby Raison at the moment who is a local lad, one of our own.

"It's a big thing for a football club of our size that we get young lads in from the community who are looking to get into the first team. The fans will get right behind them."
