The financial reward for winning this afternoon's FA Trophy semi-final is well worthwhile.
Not only is there £15K for winning the game against Woking but sales of merchandise like replica shirts all help pay the bills.
Another big source of income is from the streaming of the game despite the profit having to be split with Woking.
It's been a difficult season for Hereford FC.
After last season's massive loss, the directors have had to make decisions to ensure those losses were not repeated. Consequently the playing budget was slashed.
The continuing Covid-19 situation hasn't helped one bit. In essence most of the club's matchday income has been lost with behind closed doors fixtures. However the streaming of games has brought in some revenue. There was also three months of grants amounting to around £108K. And the club is now operating with several less staff.
However the run in the FA Trophy has lifted the spirits of everyone around Edgar Street, players, staff and supporters.
And there's a lot of optimism that Hereford can get to Wembley.
We'll know by around 5pm.
