Stamford pitch cleared of snow but more bad weather forecast

Snow has been cleared off Stamford's pitch ahead of tomorrow's FA Trophy match against Hereford, but more bad weather is forecast.

Heavy snow is set to hit the Lincolnshire town in the morning, turning to rain at about 11am. However, it is meant to clear by lunchtime.

Update: There will be a precautionary 8am pitch inspection on Saturday.
