There is a possibility that the Government will allow some fans to watch football games from next month.
A virtual meeting took place earlier today and BBC Sport has reported that 'The Department of Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) is now working on allowing fans into stadia in areas where rates of infections are deemed sufficiently low - possibly before Christmas.'
It's thought that lifting the current lockdown in England might be the catalyst needed.
'Officials are
known to be increasingly keen to come up with a plan that would enable a
phased return of fans in Tier One and possibly Tier Two areas of the
country, if the lockdown is lifted, as hoped, in early December.'
