HUST Statement On Change Of Club Chairman

The HUST Board on behalf of its members, has issued a statement following the news that Andrew Graham has stepped down as Club Chairman, with Rob Crawford having been appointed as the new Chair at the last Hereford FC Board meeting.

HUST would like to express our sincere thanks to Andrew Graham in that he has agreed to remain as an HND. HUST is well aware of how hard Andrew has worked during his tenure as Hereford FC Chair.

In particular, much of the improvement in relations between our two boards has been down to him. As every fan knows, times have been difficult over the last year or so, especially with COVID-19 impacting on so much of what goes on at Edgar Street. It can never be easy running a Football Club with limited resources, even with our great fan base. So HUST would like to formally acknowledge the tremendous amount of work Andrew has done.

Peter Sell, HUST Chair, has expressed his delight that Rob has been appointed, saying “Rob is an experienced businessman, as well as being a big fan of Hereford FC. I, like my fellow board members, believe he will do an excellent job. That is especially in light of the improvements we have seen in the running of the club since he became involved. HUST will do everything it can to assist Rob, with support particularly from our Nominated Directors (HND’s) as well as fundraising to put as much money as possible into our club.”
