AFC Telford are another National North club not too happy with the way funding from the National League has been decided.
'The Club very much welcome today’s announcement from the National League that they have arranged £10 million of funding from the National Lottery and we would like to thank them for all the work that has gone into achieving this financial support.
There is no doubt that this financial assistance helps us through this continuing period of playing behind closed doors, However we are surprised and disappointed with the method of allocation of these funds.
We understand and support the principle of allocating the funds on the basis of average home attendances, but we had expected the National League to do this right the way through the North/South clubs.
AFC Telford United have written to the National League today requesting an explanation into how these figures have been calculated and have urged them to review the allocation method to reflect average attendances throughout the North/South.'
