James Watts is no longer general manager of Hereford FC. BN understands he was told about the board's decision earlier this week.
Watts joined Hereford FC in October 2017 and said at the time that he hoped to be with the club for five years and see it back in the Football League.
Three years later and he's gone.
It's thought that Watts will not be replaced, partly to save money, and that other staff will take over his duties.
After the 'end' of last season Watts was placed on the Government's job retention scheme. He returned to Edgar Street in late June.
"Following
a difficult time for all football clubs, it is a very important period
of time for Hereford FC and we have to look at all opportunities for
revenue generation," he said at the time.
