Frustrating Night Said Gowling

Speaking after tonight's 2-0 defeat to Bradford PA, Hereford manager Josh Gowling said it had been a 'frustrating night'.

"It's a frustrating night lets's be honest," said Gowling.

"We go a goal down after a couple of minutes.

"The two goals were the two worst goals since I've been manager that we've conceeded.

"They were time wasting the whole game.

"I spoke to the referee at the end about the time wasting and he said it was on the clock.

"I think referees have got to understand that it ruins the momentum of the game. So when they are time wasting, the keeper is taking a minute or two minutes to take a goal kick, the throw-ins the same, it kills the momentum of the flow of the game.

"I think the referee has got to be better than that.

"But at the end of the day we caused our own problems."

Bradford scored their first goal a minute or so after kick-off.

"It didn't start very well.

"The lads shouted hand-ball but you've got to react as the referee didn't blow his whistle and they ended up scoring from it. Disappointing.

"We probably had 80% of the possession but they literally got nine men behind the ball, sometimes ten men behind the ball, and we just played side to side, too many times sidewards or backwards."
