Away We Go! Talking Bull Issue 127 - OUT NOW!

Talking Bull, the Independent Hereford Football Club Supporters' Magazine have released their latest FREE issue of the fanzine.

It is jam-packed with content within its 46-pages, and takes an in-depth look behind the signing of Jake Wright as the former Sheffield United and Oxford defender links up with Josh Gowling and Steve Burr in a new-look Hereford squad. In the Third Wave of signings TB also provide the much needed background to each player, with details and information you won’t find anywhere else.

Simon Wright recalls a trip to Brocton ahead of a Midland Football League visit, and goes under cover at Highgate United when scouting for AFC Bridgnorth. Not that Bridgnorth were impressed with the knowledge he came back with!

The demise of Macclesfield is studied – not once – but twice – with articles from Steve Hughes, Ron Parrott and Richard Tomkins. TB pick out some of the best memories of matches between Mac Town and the Bulls, including an FA Trophy Quarter-Final clash way back in 1972.

Karan Rai provides a fascinating insight into Hereford Black History Month delving into the history of black players that have pulled on the famous black and white shirt at Edgar Street. Whilst, after taking up her new role at Edgar Street, Ruth Walkden asks the question; Why be Welfare Officer?

The mental heath of players, supporters and club officials alike is considered in an emotional article, whilst Letters from America reveal an interest in all things Hereford FC from across the pond.

The fanzine also goes down under with a trip to Auckland City in New Zealand where crowd noise was at a premium, in direct contrast to part two of a nostalgic look back at the ‘Songs of the Terraces’ with chants you just might have joined in with on the Meadow End.

The Steve Niblett camera lens zooms in on an FA Cup tie with Godalming at Edgar Street when an opposition midfielder grabbed an unlikely man-of-the-match award despite conceding EIGHT goals. TB also features the latest Nick Brade Quiz, and there is a return for Camel’s Corner with a classic Talking Bull article featuring Ian Bowyer. Just how good a Hereford manager was he?

All this…and much, much more in the latest FREE edition of Talking Bull.
