A meeting of the Wrexham Supporters Trust took place last night to discuss the possibility of selling the club to two un-named potential investors who are said to be 'extremely well-known individuals of high net worth.'
A vote was taken and around 97% agreed that WST should consider the offer.
'The investors will be permitted to present their vision for Wrexham AFC
Limited to the members in writing or by audio visual means,' said a WST spokesman.
'The WST Board will now proceed with talks, and will update members on the next steps as soon as possible.'
Rumours who these two individuals interested in buying Wrexham might be continue to circulate on social media.
Names include Mark Hughes, businessman Jay Sugerman and former Wolves owner Steve Morgan.
Update 10pm: Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has been linked with the sale of Wrexham.
