Hereford FC have released a statement which explains why the first aid volunteers, who have served the club so well since it was reformed, can not continue their work at Edgar Street without further training.
The club will now use Point 2 Point First Aid Services. The volunteers will be able to work with the new provider as long as they partake in further training.
In their statement the club said:
'A combination of the latest compliance requirements, more streamlined management and cost savings, dictated that moving under the management of Point 2 Point First Aid Services, was a more effective solution to our current First Aid and Mandatory COVID needs.'
