Time For A Change?

'Meadow Ender Since 73' watched yesterday's game. He feels it's time for a change of manager at Edgar Street.

'After another shocking performance against bottom club Bradford PA, who could have gone away with all three points, I think it's time the club parts company with Russell Slade and his coaches. I don't entirely blame Russell Slade, the board has to accept responsibility for poor appointments
If he stays we are going down, forget the rubbish they spout in interviews, the proof is there for all to see. Seven points from 30 is nowhere near good enough ....we are in free fall, both Blyth and Kettering have gone out and brought not only players in, but a experienced manager in Kettering's case and it's working.

We can't defend or score goals, the squad is poor, Slade don't seem to be able to motivate the players, performances are poor at best. There is no style to the play, no wonder Reece Styche can't score, we just lump it forward and chase it. Look at the falling gates and it will get worse if results continue in this vain.

I know the recruitment wasn't totally down to Slade but some of his loan signings have been poor, budget wasted.

We never headed the warning when we parted company with Beads, get somebody in with experience of this league who has contacts, did we..... No... We brought in Marc and Tim, and when Marc was sacked, the board still never had the common sense or football knowledge to get an experienced man in, they appointed Slade, and are now hanging on to try and justify their appointment.

Andrew Graham needs to man up and deal with it, before we are back in the Southern Premier next season.....believe me the likes of Frank Miles and Peter Hill would have fired him by now.

You may think its just a another supporter whinging, but supporters care about this football club, we need someone in now to secure our place in this league before it's too late, and build for the future, but not just any Tom, Dick or Harry...

If it was down to me, I'd team up Steve Cotterill with his ex Cheltenham Town player Neil Howarth.. Howarth is a top top bloke in the North for player recruitment.

Sort it out Mr Chairman.'
