Despite finally winning on New Year's Day, Hereford's away problems continue following their 2-0 defeat to Gateshead this afternoon.
In truth, it was a poor game and Gateshead didn't really have to work hard for their win. A failure to deal with a cross in the 30th minute led to Elliot Forbes heading home, with substitute Dominic Tear sealing the win two minutes from time.
Hereford created very little, with Keiran Thomas' effort in the first half that went just wide their best chance. Forbes saw a header clip the top of the crossbar just after the break for the home side, while on-loan goalkeeper Will Henry had to make a great double save.
