According to the Sunderland Echo, Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has entered to sign Jarrod Bowen, the former Hereford United youngster now with Hull City.
Whether the 'report' is more to do with Newcastle's interest in Bowen isn't know but whatever the truth it is does seem that there will be bids for Bowen during the January transfer window.
Bowen's current contract at Hull runs out in the summer.
His manager, Grant McCann, has said it will take a substantial offer for Hull to consider selling Bowen.
“I think the owners have stated he is not for sale unless there is a substantial offer,” he said.
“So we will continue to work with Jarrod and he loves it here and loves playing for Hull City.
“If he didn’t, you would not see these performances week-in, week out.”
Leicester, Norwich and Southampton are also reported to be following Bowen.
