Despite losing 13-0 to Hereford in the HFA County Challenge Cup, Hinton manager Stuart Jones said he was proud of his team.
The Broomy Hill outfit - who technically play seven leagues below Hereford in the HFA County Premier League - acquitted themselves well in the first half and were only 3-0 down at the break. And with 70 minutes gone, it was only 5-0. But then Hereford ran riot, with the Bulls' superior fitness levels telling.
My @Hintonfootball side did amazing tonight. We may have lost 13-0 but we were only 3-0 down at HT and only 5-0 after 70mins. Last 20 mins was just a step to far and Hereford ran riot and scored 8. But I have loads of pride in the way my young side played.— Stu Jones (@StuJones74) October 16, 2019
