Fan pleads guilty to violent disorder following Stockport fracas

A football fan has pleaded guilty to one count of violent disorder following trouble caused at the Hereford FC versus Stockport County game last April.

Lee Prince, aged 27, of College Green, will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court next month.

Four other Hereford fans also appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, October 30), but did not enter a plea.

They are: Clive Symonds, 30, of Roman Road (charged with two counts of violent disorder); Billy Jensen, 25, of Woodward Avenue (charged with one count of violent disorder); Andrew Beavan, 50, of Lilac Grove (charged with one count of violent disorder) and a 17-year-old (charged with one count of violent disorder and one count of assault) who cannot be named for legal reasons.

They will appear at Worcester Crown Court on November 27 along with seven fans from Stockport, who have also been charged for violent disorder offences but didn't enter a plea today.

The Stockport fans that face court proceedings are: 

Michael Whitehead, 35; James Good, 33; Michael James, 39; James Thornhill, 24; Jason Rowlinson, 39; Macauley Malaney, 20; Sam Emmerson, 21.
