Four Hours To Truro For A Replay - No Thanks

Gareth Davies Celebrates Hereford's Victory Over Truro In Last Year's Replay.
Hereford face Truro in the FA Cup this afternoon at Edgar Street and what supporters really don't want is a replay as it's a good four hours drive to Cornwall for a Tuesday night game.

Manager Russell Slade isn't keen either.

"It's a very nice place, nothing against it, but no!"

However given it's the Cup, one mustn't take anything for granted. After all last year the original game between the two teams was drawn and so there was a replay. Admittedly that was at Torquay as Truro were homeless at the time. Not quite so far to travel.

Gareth Davies and Ryan Green were in charge that evening. And the game didn't go to plan as Truro were 3-0 up within 30 minutes. The Bulls did get one back by half-time through Mike McGrath.

Whatever Davies told the players, apparantly some earthy Radnorshire language was used, at half-time worked as Callum Sainty and Marlon Jackson scored to level the game.

Extra-time came and with eight minutes to go Keiran Thomas headed in the winner.
