HUST are yet to decide what to do after one of their members, Rob Bullock, was co-opted onto the main Hereford FC Board last week.
A vacancy on the main board arose after it was announced that Mick Merrick had decided to leave the HFC Board. Merrick was a HUST Nominated Director on the club board.
Early on Friday HUST said in a statement that the 'HUST board will meet to discuss the next steps to replace the 3rd HND on the HFC Board.'
But then later on Friday the Club announced that Rob Bullock had been co-opted onto the Board.
'He will join the board to fill a temporary vacancy left by the departure of Mick Merrick,' said the club.
Bullock was recently interviewed for the role of HUST Nominated Director. But at the time HUST decided to back Tony Taylor who was already on the main board.
Usually when there is a vacancy for a Nominated Director HUST ask for nominations and the HUST Board then decides whose name to put forward to the Club Board for their approval. More details here: http://www.hufctrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/HNDpack.pdf
But in this case HUST may decide simply to back Bullock as their third Nominated Director given he has already been co-opted onto the Club Board.
