Gowling to captain side

It's been confirmed this afternoon that Josh Gowling will be the captain this season.

"The great thing about that squad is that there are a lot of leaders," said Gowling, speaking to the club's official YouTube channel.

"Obviously, I’ve got the armband, but there are a lot of characters out there that can lead this dressing room, lead this team. Just because I’ve got the armband doesn’t mean that everyone else can’t lead. As I’ve got older I think I’ve got more determined to win things, I won promotion with Grimsby which has given me that burning desire to go and win something else."
