Richards Looks Forward To Gloucester Game

Hereford FC head coach Marc Richards has said he is looking forward to playing Gloucester so early in the season.

"All the games in National League North are so competitve and obviously to have Gloucester second game up is just going to add to the occasion.

"I'm looking forward to all the games, I'm looking forward to getting the season started but I've got three and a bit weeks to do a bit of work and get to know the players as best I can, the new faces, and put in a game plan going forward."

What are the realistic aims for Hereford this year?

"You know the size of the club, you know where they want to be, the clubs to be back in the Football League, that's the long term aim.

"So you know where we need to be aiming."

Ethan Moore scored Cinderford's goal in last night's friendly after a long spell out.

"It's great to see him back.

"I was there on the Thursday just before we were going to play Salford City when he did hid first ACL. It was really innocuous. He went around the keeper.

"I was also there when he did his other knee at Hartpury in a warm-up.

"So to see him back out playing is great.

"We gifted him a goal to help his confidence as well.

"He's a good kid and I hope he's stays injury free because I think everybody knows what sort of talent he is."
