Hereford 'A Good Test' Said Yeovil Manager

Yeovil manager Darren Sarll felt Friday's friendly against Hereford was 'a good test'.

The game was quite physical for a pre-season encounter and gave each side a taste of proper football.
"It was similar to the games we're going to play in our new league," Sarll told YTTV.
"It was quite realistic, had a good intensity and they did it properly which made it quite a confrontational affair.
"I'm really pleased how we stood up to it though and I like the early signs of fight that the team is showing and that’s all we want, that’s what the supporters want and that’s what the manager wants, a team that sticks together and shows some fight and pride in their football club and I like that.
"On occasions it went a tad too far, but I’d rather they had that in them and we have to rein them in than them never being able to have it and go down without a fight so I thought for that purpose, for the team bonding and the cohesive part of that element, it was a good test."
