It has been speculated that Hereford could face Yeovil Town in the first game of their pre-season bonding trip in Devon.
The Glovers have just been relegated from League Two and are in financial turmoil, with a planned takeover by Amercian investor Rob Couhig falling through.
Further interested parties have since come to the fore, but the BBC have reported that one of the consortia is also threatening to withdraw their offer due to the constant delays.
Due to the uncertainty, Hereford could therefore face another club on July 12 before facing Bideford two days later.
As reported earlier, Hereford have announced that they will host Cheltenham Town on July 17, with the Ludlow away match subsequently being pushed back to the following Saturday.
