Tributes have been paid to Jenny Prosser, a
much loved volunteer who sold programmes 'in her spot' at Edgar Street for 52
years.
Jenny - who passed away earlier this month -
rarely missed a game, often cutting holidays short to ensure she was back in
time to sell programmes and watch Hereford.
Jenny Prosser was presented with a signed shirt in 2013 from Colin Addison and Grenville Smith |
“Jenny had a
fantastic sense of humour and her smiling face on match days will be greatly
missed. I was lucky enough to spend some time with her in hospital and her
passion and love for the club was abundantly clear.
“On
behalf of everyone at the club I would like to pass on our condolences to her
family and friends at this sad time.”
Jenny's
funeral will be held at Hereford Crematorium at 1.30pm on Wednesday, July
10. Hereford fans are welcome to attend to pay their respects.
To allow
office staff to attend the funeral, the club office shop will close at 12.30pm
on the
day of the funeral.
