Onlooker has been comparing season ticket prices for the forthcoming season in the National North League.
Seventeen National League North teams have announced their season
ticket prices for 2019/20, enough to give meaningful comparisons. Most,
not all, are early bird offers.
There are a number of interesting innovations. Bradford Park Avenue
have ceased offering a special price for concessions. This will be
music to the ears of a few on the HFC board until they hear that the
combined adult price is £100, which incudes a free
scarf and hot drink at every home match and represents a reduction on
last season’s price for both adults and concessions. Newly promoted
Farsley Celtic also have a great offer mentioned later.
And so to the rankings. For comparison Hereford’s prices are ; -

Farsley Celtic sweep the board in this category with an £80 ticket
for Adults and a £50 ticket for Concessions. Their Gold Season ticket
Is also seriously attractive for all except vegetarian teetotallers. For
an additional £40 for Adults and £30 for
Concessions the ticket entitles holders to a free pint and steakburger
at every home league match. Farsley would drop to second place for
Adults but still be top for Concessions at this price. Farsley Celtic
can in no way be accused of ripping off their fans
with these prices and it is interesting to note that their final league
match in which they needed a point for the title was free entry.
Hereford ranking 15 out of 17 for Adults, 13 out of 17 for Concessions.
