Chester Release Eleven Players

Chester City have released eleven players after their 'retained' list was published.

Just two players are contracted for next season. They are Akwasi Asante and Scott Burton.

Two other players have been invited to 'win' deals. They are Matty Hughes and Gary Roberts.

Talks are set to take place with Gary Stopforth, Craig Mahon, Brad Jackson, Simon Grand, Matty Waters, Iwan Murray, George Waring, Matthew Thomson and goalkeepers Theo Roberts and Grant Shenton.

Chester finished 9th in the National North League.
