Hereford FC head coach Marc Richards was asked about keeper Matt Yates after yesterday's 1-1 draw at Alfreton.
"I think Matt Yates is the best goalkeeper I've seen at this level hence why I brought him in," said Richards.
"I know he had to deal with a very difficult time when he first came in.
"The club was in a lot of transition.
"I think he's been absolutely outstanding.
"I think he's been one of our best players this season.
"I highly rate him, I think he's got a hell of a career in front of him.
"I would choose him as my goalkeeper at the moment at this level and if there is an opportunity to look at that for next season as well I would definitely consider it."
