He spoke to the press after the game.
"It was good to score at home," said Liburd.
"I think the first half we didn't really get going but the second half was great.
"Personally for me to score in front of the fans was accomplishment. I've kicked off now so I just want to keep going now."
Asked about his celebration, Liburd said it was off the cuff.
"You can see the fans are so passionate so you get that vibe and energy so you want to give it back to them."
Both Liburd's goals were scrambled in from close range.
"It's just staying alert and sharp in the box, it's pretty crucial because you never know. I was just fortunate to take both of them today.
"You just want to be on your toes ready for anything that bounces and luckily the ball just dropped, two good positions to score.
"It was a game of two halves. First half we couldn't hardly get going but the team talk really motivated us to push on and give it a real go. Going down that little slope in the second half made a world of difference."
Asked if he was enjoying the training, Liburd said it was fantastic.
"The boys have been great and now I've had a week to train and mix in with the group it's been fantastic.
"Because I'm here next year the plan is to move up here and settle down and focus on my football. This season I've already travelled up to Guiseley from London. It doesn't faze me as long as I get to play football and I'm in and around a great bunch of lads I'm more than willing to commute."
Liburd had a great chance to open the scoring early in the first half which just went wide.
"I tried to hit it early and catch the keeper off-guard but it didn't go in.
"The first half was a bit tough, we couldn't really get going but second half we changed things around. the gaffer go into us a bit, demanded more and we showed it second half."
Tom Owen-Evans was the provider for Liburd's second goal.
"TOE did great, he's got really good feet so he was able to get past his player.
"It was a scruffy goal but all goals count, I was in the right place at the right time."
