Tony Taylor has said that he is set to stand for re-election in the forthcoming HUST election to select a director for the main board of Hereford FC.
Because of HUST rules Taylor, whose role on the club board is 'volunteer director', has to stand down shortly and an election will take place if other candidates come forward. The appointment, which is for three years, will be made before the start of next season.
HUST has recently launched a 'recruitment campaign' to help publicise the post.
‘We
are looking for one HUST member to fulfil the role of Volunteer
Director on the Club Board. Working behind the scenes to look after and
grow our volunteer base and to assist in delivering the HUST vision for
our Football Club. I’d encourage any HUST member interested in the
position to read the recruitment pack and put themselves forward. This
is a voluntary role but if requested we will make sure you are well
supported by the HUST Board and wider membership so we can all pull
together to drive our club forward’.
